Recording Class

2015 Session II                  Both campuses will meet on Fridays from 5-6 pm in the Castle Pines Music room and recording studio.

Prerequisite:                      Students grades 5-8

Track:                                   Vocal

Credits/Cost:                      8 hours:                                Enrolled: $80/Not Enrolled:  $100

Instructor:                          Middlebrooks

This class will consist of two types of registrants:  Those who wish to learn how to operate a recording studio (Technical Track), and those who wish to record (either vocals or instrumentals) in a recording studio (substituting for Vocal or Instrumental Master Class).  We will utilize the new studio furnished by the PTO at the Castle Pines Campus to record as many selections as possible for each student.  Additional weekend time may be available if necessary.  Students will complete this class with a CD of their own.  Students must come to class with material already prepared and ready to record, as there will not be time for instruction.  The later time is to avoid noise conflicts with the music room programming on either side of the studio, and to allow Parker students to participate as well.   There will be no class on days when school is not in session.
